I am 23 years old, born, raised, and still reside here in Cincinnati, OH! Growing up among the staple food options here from Skyline Chili to putting Grippo's Barbecue chips on pizza, I've always loooved food and trying new things.

I've loved baking since I was in middle school, I think my love for food & food pics grew from the BuzzFeed & Tasty snippets they had on Snapchat. One of my favorite cookie recipes that I still use is from one of those! Cooking really started to grow on me in the end of high school/beginning of college (when I had no choice) and now I love when I get the chance to cook a meal for myself or my family! (P.S I still live with my parents...)

One of my favorite things about Cincinnati is the food scene, there are seriously so many different food spots that we have to offer! From Mt. Lookout, to Over-The-Rhine, to The Banks, to the suburbs, and even across the river to Covington & Newport, KY, there is literally something for everyone. If you ever find yourself at a Cincinnati Reds baseball game, you need to get a SkyRosa. Order a slice of Larosa's cheese pizza and a Skyline Chili Cheese Coney, and fold them up together. You won't regret it (or you might)

I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2023 after studying Communications & Public Relations. I started @foodpicsbyanna on Instagram the summer of 2024 after reflecting on why I had so many food pictures just sitting in my camera roll!
I got a job post-grad but am back on the job-hunt grind as we speak. I decided to focus my free time into Food Pics by Anna, a.k.a see what I can make of my love for food, food pics, baking, and social media / writing.
